Ebb and Flow

Recently, the universe has been testing my trust in its love and abundance. While it is easy to say that the universe is always looking out for our greatest good, when things get challenging, it can be very easy to forget. Even in times when abundance is overflowing, it can seem like it is too good to be true and that the universe is giving you those blessings just to take them away.

Durring my last Reiki session, I realized that I had been allowing myself to rationalize fear as the source of universal life. This is a valid way of looking at the universe, but it did not fit with my belief that all life stems from love. As soon as I allowed myself to let go of the fear goggles and put on the lense of love, suddenly every opportunity before me became a path for greatness, instead of defeat. Instead of fear, I felt courage. When we trust that love is god, the operating source of the universe, or the center of truth, suddenly everything is a chance for that love to grow stronger within ourselves and within our world. Love does not give to take away, but rather takes away in order to give even more. Trust in love.
